Before the 31st Annual Santacruzan 2009 here in Jersey City happens on the 24th this month, a Pre-Santacruzan Ball will take place in Newark, NJ this coming Saturday, May 9, 2009. This Gala will include special performances as well as the musical stylings of the Golden band. The highlight of the evening will be the Presentation of Reyna Elenas and the Hermanos y Hermanas Mayores.

31st ANNUAL SANTACRUZAN BALL , NEW JERSEY
The Catholic Action of Mary will hold it’s 31st Annual Santacruzan Presentation Ball on Saturday, May 9th 2009 at Sheraton Hotel, Newark, NJ, announced Ledy Almadin , President. This Gala will include special performances as well as the musical stylings of the Golden band. The highlight of the evening will be the Presentation of Reyna Elenas and the Hermanos y Hermanas Mayores.
The Santacruzan Mass and Procession will be held on May 24th 2009 at St. Mary’s Church on 2nd Street between Manila Avenue and Erie St. Mass will start at 2:30 pm and it will immediately followed by the Procession with the Hermanos, Hermanas, Sagalas, flower girls, angels and the Reynas. Catholic Action of Mary , in collaboration with PACCAL, will be also celebrating with a Street Fair with flea market and food vendors from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and, there will be entertainment from 12:00-2:00 pm and 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
